Regional Accounting Manager

Job Description:
Oversee and coordinate the activities of the finance departments in the growing operations of the Company, providing management and supervision for the finance managers in the region.

Financial information and reporting

* Assist finance managers in the accurate and timely compilation and dissemination of financial information including, internal and external financial statements, annual audit and quarterly review information, reports as required by regulatory agencies and various management reports.
* Coordinate the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing process.
* Review financial statements and information for accuracy and clarity.
* Facilitate the timely completion and filing of all statutory reports and income tax returns. Seek opportunities to minimize overall tax liability for the region and the Company.

Compliance and internal controls

* Evaluate administrative and accounting controls and report to the Corporation Controller on compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley standards and on issues that require strengthening of internal controls.
* Evaluate the compliance with the Company's systems, and controls which support the integrity of these systems, processes and data, and ensure they are functioning properly throughout the region.
* Evaluate regional finance department conformance with local and Company regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
* Enhance and/or develop, implement and enforce local policies and procedures of the finance groups to improve their overall operation and effectiveness.

Financial planning and analysis

* Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends in order to assist the Corporation Controller and other senior executives in performing their responsibilities.
* Prepare reports that summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and projected operations.
* Provide reliable cash flow projections and reports, which include minimum cash thresholds to meet operating needs.
* Evaluate and advise on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory action.
* Participate in the development of the corporation's plans and programs as a strategic partner, assisting regional and corporate management in the analysis and establishment of new Corporation operations and legal entities within the region.
* Read contracts in which the regional country offices may consider entering into to ensure the appropriate financial implications are considered prior to finalizing.

Personnel and administration

* Select interview and employ all senior accounting staff in the region.
* Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
* Conduct regular performance appraisals, address personnel issues within the finance departments, mentor nd resolve issues as they arise.
* Coordinate with Corporate Finance and organize regular regional finance meetings for the purpose of training and development.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting plus Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Accountant or equivalent certification. Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business a plus.
* Minimum of 10 years' of experience with hands-on in the area of accounting (managerial), with experience working for an American company & extensive work experience in the Asia region.
* Service industry or manufacturing background, with at least some experience in a large U.S. or multi-national services company.

* The individual includes staff in planning, decision-making, facilitating and process improvement; makes self-available to staff; provides regular performance feedback; develops subordinates' skills and encourages growth.
* The individual looks for ways to improve and promote quality and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
* The individual displays willingness to make decisions, exhibits sound and accurate judgment and makes timely decisions.
* The individual prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans.



Senior Photographer

Candidates should have a minimum ten years experience in all facets of television news photography, movie, outdoor and studio including lighting, audio and editing, and show exceptional knowledge and creativity in these areas. Applicants should have a good eye for photography, be able to work in the field unsupervised or with various reporters and be able to work in deadline situations.
Successful candidates will be strong communicators, very detail-oriented, have a passion for photography and styling, patience, and a sharp mind. This position requires an individual that is a multi-tasker and a quick problem solver. This position requires a superb eye for visual composition and attention to detail. The ideal candidate must be able to maintain a high quality of work in a fast paced environment while remaining flexible. Be a strong team player. A sense of humor is as important as strong organizational skills.

Qualifications
* Degree in photography and/or related field
* 10+ years of photography experience in all facets of television news photography, movie, outdoor and studio including lighting and editing, and show exceptional knowledge and creativity in these areas.
* Demonstrate applied knowledge of digital photography, lighting, composition, color quality, and aesthetics.
*  Working knowledge of Photoshop, Capture One Pro and/or Leaf Capture  expertise in both Macintosh (OSX) and PC computer platforms
* Proven ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
* Unix and/or SQL skills a plus



Assistant Photographer

Successful candidates will be strong communicators, very detail-oriented, have a passion for photography and styling, patience, and a sharp mind. This position requires an individual that is a multi-tasker and a quick problem solver. This position requires a superb eye for visual composition and attention to detail. The ideal candidate must be able to maintain a high quality of work in a fast paced environment while remaining flexible. Be a strong team player. Qualifications
* 1+ years of photography experience in all facets of television news photography, movie, outdoor and studio including lighting and editing, and show exceptional knowledge and creativity in these areas.
* Demonstrate applied knowledge of digital photography, lighting, composition, color quality, and aesthetics.



Senior Designer

This position requires a talented designer who understands visual/interactive design principles. You'll be responsible for high-end concept and design work for a variety of projects, including news, entertainment, sports and commerce. You will work closely with our content and development teams in an openly creative, teamwork-oriented environment. Your portfolio should demonstrate an excellent level of design skills, attention to detail and problem-solving, while showcasing your finest work.

Qualifications:

* Degree in Design and/or related field
* Ideal candidate will have at least 10 years experience designing for the production house.
* Excellent teamwork skills and ability to work well with art direction.
* Strong creative and conceptual skills, with a focus on Web and interface design.
* Working knowledge of information architecture concepts.
* Ability to create, direct and multitask effectively under pressure.
* Relentless attention to detail.
* Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash.
